Counting one zone of stock and fixing the differences.
Prepare (3)
- Zone and locations picked from the count plan
- Movements in the zone paused or noted
- Count sheet or scanner ready
Count (4)
- Count every location, don't look at the system number first
- Units, not cases, unless the case is sealed
- Damaged or expired stock counted apart
- Photo of any location that doesn't matchphoto
Fix (3)
- Recount differences with a second person
- Adjustments approved and posted
- Cause of big differences noted
